Full Release

The COVID-19 testing site in downtown Pflugerville will soon be expanding its hours.

The free coronavirus testing site at 103 N. Railroad Ave. will now be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays. The new hours will go into effect Monday.

The change in hours comes after the Texas Division of Emergency Management contracted with a new vendor, Spartan Medical, for the Pflugerville test site, according to a news release from Austin Public Health.

The site had been operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 6 p.m.

Individuals wishing to sign up for a test at the downtown Pflugerville test site will still be required to make an appointment. Individuals do not need to be Pflugerville residents or have symptoms in order to receive a test.
